I hate this place: November 26th, 2006: So many freaking ads. This is why free web-serving blows ass. In the past, you wouldn't have to put ridiculous ads in order to help pay for web spacing. But then again, you didn't get much space to begin with. Anyway, I am here to tell you about my new site. It's not a fan fiction site, nor is it a Pokemon site. Some of you may already know this, but I recently have been taking Music courses at university in hopes of getting a Masters in Composition. In turn, it's important to put together a portfolio, and I do have one. It is here: Mattias Xpress. I know not too many of you visit this site anymore, if anyone visits at all, but I thought it would be somewhat important to let you all know that I do remember this site and do visit. Yeah, so I lied: December 17th, 2004: Wow, I thought that I was seriously going to re-open the site at one point, I seriously did. However, I really and honestly don't think I can make that kind of commitment right now. I may at least revamp the site to make it look better, but other than that I don't think there will be any more submissions of fan fiction. My interest in Pokémon has severely declined, however, I still like the Old School games (IMHO, the first 150 will still be the best ones). But anyway, for those who continue to visit the site, thanks for stopping by, and I will try to make this place look a little bit better. Merry Christmas! Some redecorating: January 5th, 2004: I thought I would take some time to make the background look a little bit prettier for this site's Grand Re-Opening! That's right, as soon as everything else is completely set-up and much more attractive looking, then I will once again be accepting fan fiction! Perhaps I shall re-open...or not: June 21st, 2003: I've come back to update a few things, first of all, the About PFC page. That thing's been incredibly out of date; Rob himself never really helped me with this site, so perhaps I should take it down entirely. Anyway, I've managed to add in the missing links to the following stories:
Well, perhaps I'll do more updating, like change around the background or something. Later! Just to check in: May 12th, 2003: Yup, it's been a very long time, hasn't it? Well, I've been contemplating a little bit, but I may consider re-opening the site. That's right. I just came on to update my one trainer fic (which has been finished for a while at least). It depends. It still seems that the site still gets a relatively good amount of hits to it (which is good to see). The pages with the fics will have to be re-formatted a little, since this looks a little too ghetto for my looks, heh. Well, I'm out. Perhaps I'll be back on later. Final Update (I lied): November 28th, 2001: As much as I hate to say this, I'm going to shut down the PFC. As you all already know, it's been very rare that I have updated the site with anything at all, and the authors who have submitted their items that still haven't gotten them put up the site are starting to get rather frustrated... I've become rather frustrated as well, because I've kept putting off the site recently, as well as I've rarely ever found time to update. Now there are much better places to have your fan fiction placed up, and one place I recommend is FanFiction.net. Yes, it is slow at times, and they often have a LOT of problems, however, it's the best place to update your works and you have a MUCH higher chance of getting comments to your fan fiction than you would here... In my two years working here, I have started to find my interest in Pokémon greatly decreasing. I do still watch the show, but I just don't seem to like it as much as I did when I first started to watch the show. Part of this has to do with the fact that it's in constant syndication, as well as the Johto episodes are very alike to the Indigo episodes. But I did have a great time working at the site, and I really have to thank you people for sticking it out with me. I have managed to put up great pieces of work, and it was mainly this site that helped keep my interest high in the show, as long as writing my own fan fiction. So really, I have to thank those who had submitted their fictions in the past, and I have to apologize to those who never got to see theirs up at the site, but it's really time that I let this site down to rest. The space is running out, and I've found it even harder and harder to put up an update, with a separation seeming months apart from time to time. I just realized that I can't do this anymore, and that something has to be done. Unfortunately, this had to be the outcome... Once again, I'm really sorry for doing this to you, my faithful visitors at the site, but this seems to be the only route I can take. I'll leave the site up for about a few more weeks, then it's going towards deletion...(I lied). Once again, thank you all, and I am sorry... ~~ Matt.
